The council approved spending up to 2000 for pothole repairs within the Quail Hollow Estes area and directed staff to obtain a quote specifically from Gibson Paving and Concrete and proceed with the work if the quote is under the 2000 threshold. This indicates an immediate, small-scale street maintenance need with a preferred vendor identified but contingent on price. While the current work authorization is capped and may go to Gibson if they meet the price, other pavement, road maintenance, or materials vendors could position for future repairs or larger resurfacing projects by engaging the city on broader street condition assessments and maintenance planning beyond this limited scope.
