The Fiscal Court awarded RFQ No. 2526-75 to Brown Service Company for 22200 to provide engineering for relocating a water line on Browns Valley Red Hill Road as part of a bridge project. County Engineer Dirk Dooper indicated the larger bridge project would go out to bid in June and is expected to be completed by the end of September. This establishes Brown Service Company as the engineering provider for the water line relocation while signaling that the main bridge construction contract is approaching the bidding stage. Construction, utilities, and traffic control vendors can prepare for the upcoming June bridge bid and consider partnering or subbing where water line relocation interfaces with bridge work are critical.
