On June 23, 2026, the Gila County Library District Board approved a three‑year Agreement for E‑Rate Services between the Gila County Information Education Technology Consortium (School Superintendent and Library District) and Yavapai County School Superintendent’s Office. Under this agreement, YCSS staff consultant Frank VanderHorst will provide E‑Rate consulting and training to support planning, procurement, and implementation of eligible technology for Gila County school districts and libraries from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2029 at $5,000 per year. For vendors selling networking, Wi‑Fi, internal connections, security appliances, and related managed services, this confirms that the Library District and school districts will be actively using E‑Rate to fund technology projects and that procurement will flow through a knowledgeable E‑Rate consultant.
